Well I took off the HD muffler and with an adapter bushing reinstalled the ST. Like the sound of the HD much better and so reinstalled it with locktite on the fasteners and exhaust seal on the joint. Will run this and check mileage and jetting. So far both seem OK, manage 120 miles before switching to reserve most tank fulls and it does't run any stronger when I notch the choke out to the first detent. A little soot in the pipe so it isn't running lean. Wish Suzuki would see fit to try the HD style muffler from the factory and a full size head pipe. It did make a big difference in the sound. BTW the Highway Hawk pipe is $120 + P&H, and HD mufflers are in most dumpsters at HD shops when the new HD owners switch them out. My kid brother got mine for free where he bought his HD from their bin, bracket was maybe $0.50 of iron. A hacksaw or large tubing cutter, some time and it is "thumper time". Max
